NYCFC, James Sands returns to talk about the defeat against Toronto FC

James Sands returned to New York City FC's loss to Toronto FC:

"I think it's one of the worst moments in the game when you can concede goals," he added. “We talk about the five minutes to start or finish the match, and then the five minutes before or after the break.

“Those are kind of see-saw moments, and when you concede in one of those, it makes the rest of the game very difficult.

“I think maybe we weren't ready, and obviously they took advantage of that. It's something we have to fix for sure if we want to be one of the best teams in this league.

“I would say from the start our press wasn't right. They were able to play against Sapong, which we wanted to avoid".
