Where will NYCFC play FC Cincinnati in New York?

New York City FC is set to take on FC Cincinnati in the MLS Cup Playoffs. The first match will be played on Monday, May 28 at TQL Stadium. Where in New York the game will be played remains a mystery.

It is still unclear where New York City will host the second game of this best-of-three: the Major League Baseball playoffs are underway, with both the New York Yankees and Mets in the mix. The Yankees will be in the World Series, so Yankee Soccer Stadium will not be available.

The Mets are still looking for a World Series spot, and their pursuit could jeopardize the availability of both of NYCFC’s preferred stadiums.

The World Series will begin on October 25, just as Round One is set to begin around MLS.
