NYCFC, sick of victories and goals

New York City FC can no longer win. At the start of the season Torrent's team collected only 4 points, the result of as many draws. Too little for a team that last year, at the same point of the season was unbeaten and had 13 points.

Something broke in the team's mechanics. Much depends on the absence of David Villa, a fundamental player for this team. And the numbers prove it. New York City FC does not score from the match against LAFC, a game that so far has also scored the only goal by a striker, Mitrita.

If there was no match against Toronto, against Montreal Impact it was hoped for a response from the team. It must be said that in terms of commitment, the team gave everything, but then it failed in the finalization phase. Indeed, New York City FC has not been able to find the way of scoring even when playing with one more player. 

This is a clear sign that the team suffers this situation on a psychological level, without victories and without goals. And yet, a victory could bring back peace and give impetus to a young team with great potential. Against Minnesota United will be another important test, another opportunity to finally reach the first victory.
