Nick Cushing admits: "We didn't start the game well enough"

Nick Cushing is bitter after New York City FC's loss to Toronto FC:

"We didn't start the game well enough," he admitted. “We talked about having to start the game well, especially here, and we didn't start the game well enough. Both teams must go through the same process with the delay. It doesn't help to go out, warm up, go in and have to go back, but both teams were just as frustrated with that. It took 40 minutes to gain possession – the last five minutes of the first half were better."
